Face Recognition Software In Vb6
Jan 08, 2014 Facial recognition is a fairly complex task. You are in the world of neural nets. It isn't just taking a picture and comparing pixel by pixel - if you do that, the angle of your face, background etc has to be exactly the same. First you have to work out where the face is.
I am looking for a programmer to help me test and enhance the Face SDK software (VB6) developed by Luxand (url removed, login to view). This SDK software (VB6) has face recognition and face-based biometric identification functionality. Need someone to modify sample source code (VB6) and only create two button on the form, if button 1st press then capture person image from web cam and save in SQL Express 2005/2008 database and if press 2nd button then live person image match with save image in database. Luxand FaceSDK has all documentation/sample source code (VB6) and a download available on their website. If the project is full fill requirement an additional 200-300 US$ will award.

More explanation: 1st correction: It is Luxand face SDK not luxend Currently: In sample code there is a button to capture images from web cam and when you press the button it will save the person image in variable for temporary with the ID and then automatically match if face detect from a web cam with ID and when shutdown application it clear all image because it is kept in memory not save in database. Need modification: We want when you press this button capture image should save in the SQL database binary field with the ID permanent not temporary and if some one stand front of web cam it should automatically match from save images in the database as sample application dose from veriable.
