Good Afternoon iphone heat, I think I messed up big time here, cut a long story short. My 3GS 3.1.2 was stuck on recovery mode after a reboot – Blackrain couldn’t jump start, so i stupidly followed a useless guide and restored it but at the same time accidently upgraded it to 3.1.3 I need to get my unlock back on Orange (unofficial carrier)? Is there any hope for me or am I stuck with O2 (Official Carrier)? Lastly is it possible to downgrade to 3.1.2 by manually installing a custom firmware? Okay, I have to say I’m over this whole iPhone crap! I had my iPhone working without skipping a beat on version 3.0. I figured that OS4 had some nice things and all the posts I read pretty much said Ultrasn0w would unlock everything!

So, since upgrading to OS4, my iPhone is now a nice iPod! However, I have tried everything and have now even resorted in going back to OS3.0, but I still cannot unlock my phone. So, I have returned both the baseband and OS to it’s original ‘working’ state yet the unlock still wont ‘unlock’!
The ONLY thing that is different is the version of Ultrasn0w. I believe it was version 0.6 back then which you can no longer install. Anyone have any ideas what so ever? I really can’t believe the amount of s.t you have to go through to get an F’n phone to work! I knew I should have stuck with Nokia! I had my iphone 3g unlocked i paid someone to unlock it, they have used ultrasnow and i am on version 4.2.1 for the past 2 weeks i have suddenly started to get intermittent no service i rang 02 and they sent me a 3g sim card and its still doing it. My partners phone doesnt have this problem he just has a sony ericson cyber shot.
What can i do to rectify this problem 02 said my phone may need updating in itunes but obviously i can’t do this, and the last time i did it i had to completely reformat my computer as it stuck on the usb symbol and something took out a main driver on my laptop (which is 64 bit) i got told it is harder to jailbreak a phone on a 64 bit. Can you tell me what to do as i love having it jailbroken but am not sure if i reset it back in itunes how to jailbreak it again. Hi guys, Wondering if you can help me? I recently jailbroke an iPhone 3gs (think its on 3.1.2 firmware) with Limera1n. The phone was working fine.
Iphone A1303 Reset
Until my friend decided to sell his phone due to getting an iPhone 4. He reset phone to factory settings and now its stuck on the iTunes & USB screen. I’ve tried all sorts to kick it out of recovery but no joy. I’ve tried restoring firmware with shift and restore and firmware 3.1.2, Itunes keeps giving 3194 error. I’m using Itunes 10.3.1 Unfortunately, I DONT have the saved SHSHs anymore as my laptop crashed and had to format the HDD to get it working again.
Any ideas pleasE? I dont really want to upgrade to the lastest firmwar incase it cant be unlocked? Also, I can’t confirm that it is on 3.1.2 iOS as i cant get into the phone to check. TinyUmbrella show the model as INVALID. Hi, I had purchased a jailbroken and unlocked iphone around 6 months back.

The iOS on that is 4.0.1 woth Modem Firmware as 01.40.52. I am planning to upgrade the iOS to 4.3.3 as some of the apps that I want to run are supported by this version and I found a lot of help on net that teaches about how u can jailbreak and unlock ur phone with this iOS version. But all talk about preserving the baseband to 01.59.00. Now am not sure how I can get the baseband 01.59.00 before I start the jailbreak/unlock process. Is there smthg like if I upgrade the iOS from 4.0.1 to 4.3.3 the Firmware will automatically get upgraded from 01.40.52 to 01.59.00? I am in India and using my phone that I purchased from US. Though my mobile carrier now provides the iPhone 4 and supports it, I am still not sure If I will be able to use there sim on my phone as I purchased it from US and got it unlocked and jailbroken there.

Please provide me insight if I am doing the right thg by planning to upgrade the iOS? I jus don’t want that once I upgrade I am not able to use my iphone with my mobile connection if it gets locked again.
