So i purchased a Haltech E6X, everyone told me i had to buy an old laptop with DOS or MSDOS OS to get it to work. Did some digging on the Haltech Forums and voila!! Turns out the HalwinV1.26 software install is where the problem lies!!! Sooooo instead of giving you a new installer or long process I made it easy on everyone else! I have my own server setup to allow people to download everything you need, Including the Halwin version of the tuning software.
I have personally tested this on X64 Windows 7, Windows 8 (laptop) and x86 Windows XP If anyone needs help PM me ill be glad to help. Instructions: 1. Follow the Extract Prompts 3.
