Did your stop working completely? I would love to have them just swap it out, but we all know the dreaded 'Could not duplicate' excuse gives them an out.No, didn't stop completely. I just said it has now happened on numerous occasions, that I had bought a new DVD to make sure it wasn't the disc (which was not true) and it was still happening, usually when I had been using it all day, but occasionally it was now doing it when first starting the car, but that was not often. I asked them to put a claim in for a warranty repair and they did and it was approved. I had the same problem. Dealer replaced the DVD player in the truck with a new one. My is a 2005 and it was off warranty.
I was very expensive around $1000 if i rember correctly. I hope it never happens again.OH NOOO IT HAS COME BACK ON MINE ALSO!!!! Car has been fine for the last 6months. Today I drove to the supermarket push the nav, button just for kicks. 'Please Check Navigation DVD.'
Tried reseting the mmi, ejected removed the disk. Nothing worked.

Left the car to go grocery shopping came back in 15 minutes. Turned the car on and it was already in Working Nav mode again. I hope this is a freak occurrence and not the sign of the future.
