Okay so here is the deal. I use a Corsair M95 (MMO - 15 button monster) for all my gaming.

So far I've used it on everything from FarCry 3 to Borderlands 2 and even Minecraft. However I am now experiencing issues with this game and the mouse.
This is my first time using this mouse with SWTOR, as I formerly used a Razer Naga with no problems. The problem is that my custom mapped buttons on the side of the mouse (they are set as single keystrokes of numbers 1 - 9) are not recognized within the game. These are the actual numbers not the number pad keys that I'm using. I've made sure that my machine's OS is up to date, graphics card drivers, mouse drivers, SWTOR launcher, MS framework and just about everything else on my PC. But to no avail.
I can open up notepad, Chrome, Word, etc. To type using the keys 1-9 and the corresponding key shows up within any program and every other game I've tried works flawlessly with this mouse without additional setup. What am I doing wrong?
Not a single key works. I've seen issues with certain keyboards and mice not being able to use the number 5 key, but this setup doesn't recognize any of my number keys. The two clicks (right and left) work fine, along with the scroll wheel. Heck even the DPI adjuster on the side of the left click button works in-game.
Just not the custom mapped 1-9 keys. I can't type using them in chat. I can't issue commands with them. I have no clue what is going on. I have at this point spent hours on the issue, and it's probably something super simple.

It aims to bring the features of their proprietary CUE software to the Linux and Mac operating systems. Extract it and open the ckb-master directory. The easiest way to install ckb is to double-click the quickinstall script and run it in a Terminal. It will attempt to build ckb and then ask if you'd like to install/run the application. If the build doesn't succeed, or if you'd like to compile ckb manually, see for instructions. Upgrading: To install a new version of ckb, or to reinstall the same version, first delete the ckb-master directory and the zip file from your previous download. Then download the source code again and re-run quickinstall. The script will automatically replace the previous installation.
You may need to reboot afterward. Uninstalling: First, stop the ckb-daemon service and remove the service file. If you have systemd (Ubuntu versions starting with 15.04): sudo systemctl stop ckb-daemon sudo rm -f /usr/lib/systemd/system/ckb-daemon.service. Double-click on quickinstall and it will compile the app for you, then ask if you'd like to install it system-wide.
If the build fails for any reason, or if you'd like to compile manually, see. Upgrading (binary): Download the latest ckb.pkg, run the installer, and reboot.
